You can’t use a grappling hook on it, and there are no direct ledges to grab onto. The safe zone is marked with a bed icon, but the path to it is not obvious. To reach the top, you must use the environment around you to find an alternate route. The area is crawling with infected and Baron’s soldiers, so it is highly recommended that you stay low and avoid combat to conserve your resources.

The Path to Power

To reach the top of the pole, you need to climb the building directly opposite of it. Here is a step-by-step guide to help you find your way:

1. Find the Truck: Look for a truck parked next to the wall of the building. You will need to use this truck to hop over the boundary wall and onto the roof of the building.
2. Ascend the Chimney: Once you are on the roof, head directly towards the chimney. The chimney has a metal ladder on it, but some of the steps are broken. You will need to be careful as you climb, and you will need to rotate around the chimney to find gaps in the ladder and other platforms to continue your ascent.
3. Use the Zip Line: Once you reach the very top of the chimney, you will find a zip line. This is your ticket to the safe zone. Use the zip line to get across to the top of the Gas Station Voltage Pole.

Restore the Power and Secure the Safe Zone

Once you are on top of the pole, you are not done yet. You still need to restore the power to the area. Look for an electrical board on the left side of the pole. Interact with it to switch on the power. This will restore the power to the safe zone, which will activate the bed, your stash, and your rewards. Once the power is on, you will be able to rest up and access your stash, and you will have a new, secure location to return to in the Industrial Park. The reward for this safe spot is the Shock Arrows Blueprint, a powerful new weapon that you can use to electrify your enemies and give you a huge advantage in combat.
